ReclaimYard ("we", "us", "our") operates a marketplace at reclaimyard.net connecting buyers and sellers of reclaimed and surplus construction materials. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

• Account information — name, email address, and password when you sign up.
• Profile and seller information — business name, location, and details required to verify approved sellers.
• Listing content — photos, descriptions, prices, and material details you upload.
• Transaction information — order details, shipping/pickup arrangements, and messages exchanged with the other party. Payment card details are collected and processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• Payout information — for sellers, identity and bank details required by Stripe Connect to enable payouts.
• Usage data — pages visited, actions taken, device and browser information, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Cookies — used to keep you signed in and to remember preferences.

• Operate the marketplace, including listings, search, messaging, checkout, and payouts.
• Verify sellers and prevent fraud or abuse.
• Send transactional emails (order confirmations, messages, account notices).
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• Improve and secure the service.
• Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, dispute resolution).

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Other users — when you list, message, or transact, the relevant counterparty sees your display name, listing details, and information needed to fulfil the order.
• Service providers — Stripe (payments and Connect payouts), Supabase (database and authentication), email delivery providers, and hosting providers, all bound by contractual confidentiality.
• Legal and safety — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you check out or onboard as a seller, Stripe collects and processes your payment or payout information directly under Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive limited information such as transaction status, last four card digits, and payout account status — never full card numbers.

We keep your account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations. You can request deletion at any time (see Your rights below).

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted database storage, and row-level access controls. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password and notify us immediately of suspected unauthorized access.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Export your data in a portable format.

ReclaimYard is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our service providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses to protect your data.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app.
